COST/PRICING ADMINISTRATOR

1.  Work with Project Team Leaders to create pricing data and documentation for proposals.  Provide recommendations for the WBS, the estimating process, and documentation for the basis of estimate.

2.  Create program budgets and track costs using earned value concepts.  Provide analysis of cost variances to Project Team Leaders.  Create reports for monthly program reviews.  Track funding requirements. 

3.  Provide sales and headcount forecasts to Finance Manager.  Advise Finance Manager of any variances and/or issues.

4.  Recommend and execute continuous improvement ideas for the cost and pricing processes. 

6.  Provide overall coordination of the cost and pricing function to ensure that projects are accurately estimated and implemented within contract and funding limits.

7.  Responsible for a wide variety of detailed pricing and cost functions for government and commercial programs.

-          Demonstrated experience in cost analysis, pricing, and preparation of cost volumes & earned value reporting for government contracts

-          DoD or Federal Government Program Cost Accounting experience

-          Pricing and/or proposal preparation experience

-          Direct hands-on experience developing Progam EAC's in conjunction with program management personnel

-          Working knowledge & experience with Cost Accounting Standards (as required by federal, state and local laws and regulations), FAR and DFARS

-          Understanding of FAR and Cost Accounting Standards

-          Knowledge of performance measurement techiques and applications

-          Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment

-          Self-starter, comfortable working without day-to-day direction

-          Excellent planning, organizational oral and written communication skills

-          Ability to supervise or motivate people

 

Educational Requirements:

Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field, with at least 4-6 years prior experience in program financial management and/or pricing of government contracts.  Prior experience with CSSR preferred.
